Automatic Ontology Matching Using Application Semantics
نویسندگان
چکیده
hance the process of semantic reconciliation. Application semantics involves those elements of business reasoning that affect the way concepts are presented to users: their layout, and so on. In particular, we pursue in this article the notion of precedence, in which temporal constraints determine the order in which concepts are presented to the user. Existing matching algorithms use either syntactic means (such as term matching and domain matching) or model semantic means, the use of structural information that is provided by the specific data model to enhance the matching process. The novelty of our approach lies in proposing a class of matching techniques that takes advantage of ontological structures and application semantics. As an example, the use of precedence to reflect business rules has not been applied elsewhere, to the best of our knowledge. We have tested the process for a variety of web sites in domains such as car rentals and airline reservations, and we share our experiences with precedence and its limitations.

Automatic Hashtag Recommendation in Social Networking and Microblogging Platforms Using a Knowledge-Intensive Content-based Approach
In social networking/microblogging environments, #tag is often used for categorizing messages and marking their key points. Also, since some social networks such as twitter apply restrictions on the number of characters in messages, #tags can serve as a useful tool for helping users express their messages. In this paper, a new knowledge-intensive content-based #tag recommendation system is intr...
متن کاملA Framework for Recommending Ontology Matching Systems based on Application Requirements
Ontology matching is the process of generating correspondences between terms of different ontologies. Today, several methods for ontology matching have been proposed, which makes difficult the choice of the most suitable to use in a particular setting. In this paper, we propose a novel ontology matching framework that uses automatic matchers recommendation to generate alignments. The differenti...
متن کاملHybrid Ontology and Keyword Matching Indexing System
This paper describes a search tool that currently is being used by British Telecommunications engineers to access a technical repository. Our search tool is composed of two major components: an ontology assisted query understanding/rephrasing and a keyword based search that has an indexer enhanced with automatic text classification. Although the ontology was built for engineers it is a good bas...
متن کاملCentralized Clustering Method To Increase Accuracy In Ontology Matching Systems
Ontology is the main infrastructure of the Semantic Web which provides facilities for integration, searching and sharing of information on the web. Development of ontologies as the basis of semantic web and their heterogeneities have led to the existence of ontology matching. By emerging large-scale ontologies in real domain, the ontology matching systems faced with some problem like memory con...
متن کاملA Novel Approach for Intelligent Information Retrieval in Semantic Web Using Ontology
In most of the existing information retrieval systems are follows the keyword searching methods which are inefficient in various aspects. We have proposed a novel approach that provides intelligent information retrieval in a semantic web based ontology. Using the concept of ontology the relevant information is indexed and is processed in such a way to provide the advantage of abundant semantics...
